Bridging Generations Through Understanding and Connection

Growing up in the rolling hills of the North Bay, I learned early that the most profound connections happen when we truly listen—whether to the wisdom of old-growth redwoods or the stories passed down through generations. This foundation of deep observation and genuine curiosity led me to the University of Washington, where I studied sociology and discovered my passion for understanding how different generations navigate our changing world.
My approach to intergenerational work is rooted in the same principles that drew me to those quiet moments in nature: patience, presence, and the belief that every voice—regardless of age—carries unique wisdom. I’ve spent years in my undergraduate work studying focusing on social psychology and cognitive sociology in order to understand how the environments around individuals shape their view of the world. Now, I use these same theoretical frameworks to help identify where generational miscommunication arises and how to bridge those gaps.

At Empatheia, I bring together my academic understanding of social systems with an intuitive grasp of how different generations communicate, learn, and connect. I draw on the same skills that helped me find harmony in both the diverse ecosystems of Northern California and the complex intergenerational landscapes of modern society.
I believe the most meaningful progress happens when we honor both innovation and tradition, creating spaces where every generation feels heard, valued, and understood. Let’s build those bridges together.
